New Good Practice Guide for Discounts & Offers

The ICS has designed a new Good Practice Guide for the responsible communication of offers and discounts. During sales and offer periods, both consumer interest and competition in the market intensify and it is even more important to observe the correct way of communication, which consolidates public confidence in brands and avoids disputes between companies.

 

This new Guide specifies the provisions of the Greek Code of Advertising – Communication (EKD-E) and recommends ways of their proper implementation, targeted at sensitive points of communication of discounts and offers, such as the price statement, the reference to a discount percentage, the promise of benefit / profit, the availability of products, etc.
