The Romanian Advertising Council (RAC) participated, as a key speaker, in the conference organized by the Romanian Association of Manufacturers of non-prescription drugs, food supplements and medical devices -RASCI- on October 26.
The theme of the conference was ” Charting the Future of Responsible Self-Care in Romania. Perspectives on the future of personal care in Romania ” and aimed to address topics of major interest to the personal care industry.
RAC was represented by Oana Cociașu – President, Managing Partner MedicOne, who supported, together with Răzvan Prisada – President ANMDMR, Diana Mereu – Executive Director RASCI and Costin Vasilescu – Reckitt , the panel dedicated to the introduction of advertising for OTC medicines in social media and in mobile applications as an option to increase the level of information of the population.
During the panel, the RAC President spoke about the role of social media channels in informing the population and also emphasized the importance of monitoring advertising online and on social media channels. Monitoring the content published in social networks is an indispensable tool in ensuring correct information to the population and in protecting it against undeclared or misleading advertising.
Held under the umbrella of the About health – with responsibility educational campaign , the event addressed topics of major interest to the personal care industry. During the Conference the following spoke: Răzvan Prisada, President of ANMDMR, Dan-Virgil Pascu, Vice President of the Competition Council , Oana Cociasu, President of RAC and Managing Partner MedicOne as well as the representative of the College of Pharmacists from Romania.
The conference brought together representatives of health authorities and companies and professional associations in the self-care industry from local and European level.
