SO FX Ltd in creditors’ voluntary liquidation

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) advise all former customers of SO FX Ltd who may have a claim to contact the firm’s liquidators, Evelyn Partners.

 

In August 2020, the FCA published a warning about SO FX on the Financial Services Register that it may be providing financial services or products in the UK without authorisation.

 

SO FX Ltd entered into a creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 25 November 2021 and Evelyn Partners was appointed as liquidator.

  1. Stuart Bayes’ date of birth is 11 January 1966.
  2. Jonathan Swann’s date of birth is 27 September 1971.
  3. Insider dealing is a criminal offence punishable, on conviction, by a fine and / or up to 7 years’ imprisonment at the time of the offending. For offences committed on or after 1 November 2021, the maximum sentence is up to 10 years’ imprisonment.
  4. Mr Bayes faced 3 counts of insider dealing on the indictment: one of dealing and 2 alternative counts alleging that he either disclosed inside information to Mr Swann or encouraged him to deal whilst in possession of inside information.  Mr Swann faced one count of dealing.
